Open Vowels
For open vowels, the tongue is low in the mouth. Moving
from /æ/ through to /a /, we also notice the
different positions of the tongue; /æ/ is a front vowel, and /a /, is a back vowel.
you should emphasize more on how you use each of the sounds of both open, mid, clos vowels
